The Elders Ministry carries responsibility for the spiritual life of the congregation. Together with the pastors, the elders watch over the church: teaching the Word, giving counsel, settling matters that need wisdom, and praying for the members God has entrusted to them.
Much of this work is quiet. Elders visit the sick, sit with families in difficulty, encourage those who have drifted, and stand with anyone carrying a burden too heavy to carry alone. They are also the people to approach when you need mature, confidential counsel.
If you would like to meet an elder, ask for prayer, or seek counsel about something you are walking through, speak to one of them after the service or contact the church office, what you share is held in confidence.
