Who we are
An English-speaking home in the heart of Kigali
Part of the Pentecostal Church of Rwanda (ADEPR) — Kigali Region, Gasabo Parish — gathered at Ntora-Gasave, Gisozi.
Our story
Birthed from a vision, in July 2009
Ntora Church English Service was birthed in July 2009 following a vision to have an English-speaking church that would impact Kigali and the whole world with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit — for the glory of Almighty God.
We are a congregation of the Pentecostal Church of Rwanda (ADEPR), within ADEPR Kigali Region, Gasabo Parish, gathering at Ntora-Gasave in Gisozi. That heritage takes on an English-speaking expression at NCES — welcoming people from every background who call Kigali home, and those just passing through.
“Better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere.” — Psalm 84:10

Our family
Part of ADEPR — the Pentecostal Church of Rwanda
The Pentecostal Church of Rwanda (ADEPR) began in the 1940s in Gihundwe, Western Rwanda, through missionaries of the Swedish Free Mission, and became ADEPR in 1983. Today it serves communities in every region of the country — preaching the gospel while advancing education, health and economic development. NCES belongs to ADEPR Kigali Region, Gasabo Parish, and carries that same calling in English.
What we believe
Rooted in the Word
- 1The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, and salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ.
- 2One Almighty God in the Holy Trinity — Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- 3Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, the one Mediator between God and mankind.
- 4His death, resurrection and the redemption of the world through faith in His blood.
- 5Baptism by immersion for those who have believed and received Christ.
- 6The gifts and work of the Holy Spirit, and a life of holiness in word and deed.
