First time at NCES?
Your first Sunday starts here
Visiting a church for the first time can feel uncertain. Here is everything you need to know about when we meet, where to find us, and what to expect when you arrive.

New here?
You are welcome here
Whether you are new to Kigali, exploring the Christian faith, returning to church, or looking for an English-speaking church family, you are welcome at NCES. Come on your own, bring your family or invite a friend. You are free to participate at your own pace.
Your first Sunday
What your first Sunday looks like
Arrive & find your way
Our welcome team will help you find the worship space, answer any questions, and help you find a seat. Sit wherever you feel comfortable.
Worship & prayer
We worship and pray together in English through songs, Scripture and congregational prayer.
Hear God’s Word
A pastor or invited speaker shares a biblical message for faith and everyday life.
Respond at your own pace
You will not be asked to stand, introduce yourself publicly, or wear a visitor badge. Take part, or simply observe — at your own pace.
Coming with children?
Children are welcome
Children are warmly welcome at NCES. Ask our welcome team when you arrive, and they will explain the children’s arrangements available that Sunday.
